Join your colleagues, contemporaries, and even a few new companions in saluting a successful Pittcon at one of Chicago’s most fascinating and fun venues. The first annual Pittcon Party will be held at the city’s world-renowned Museum of Science & Industry.

Sunday Poster Session and Mixer
Kick off the Technical Program with an author meet and greet, while enjoying complimentary refreshments and snacks. View over 60 posters, previewing some of the many hot topics being covered during conference week, including; food, forensics, pharma, environmental, electrochemistry, and portable instruments. Posters will be on display from 1:30 PM until 7:30 PM. (Authors will be present 5:30-7:30pm).

Pie and the Sky™

Join us for dinner at Giordano’s Pizza and a trip to the Skydeck™ at the top of the famous Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower).
The evening includes a pizza, pasta, salad buffet with soft drinks, followed by a sight-seeing excursion at the Willis Tower. The Skydeck™ experience includes an informational video, express elevator ride — 103 stories! — and breathtaking 360° views of Chicago, Lake Michigan, and surrounding states! End the evening with a browse through the Willis Tower gift shop and shop for a souvenir of your ‘Pie and the Sky’™ evening.

Beer Tasting Happy Hour

Join us for a fun and informative Beet Tasting Happy Hour!
The event will be held at Row 24, just a 3 minute walk from McCormick Place. The event will include beer tasting with commentary from experts in the field of brewing and beer chemistry. Light snacks will also be included. This beer tasting will be a great networking opportunity and a great way to learn about everyone’s favorite libation.
