Come to Pittcon Central to take a break from walking the expo floor and learn about our exciting return to our hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for Pittcon 2027. Explore the wonders of Pittcon Park, where you can immerse yourself in a world of hands-on learning and fun! Experience the thrill of LEGO Car Races, put your skills to the test in the Lab Gauntlet, and enjoy captivating presentations in the DemoZone and Learning Labs. This vibrant space offers a unique opportunity to engage with science and technology in a fun and interactive setting!

The LEGO Races is an interactive activity designed to engage attendees in a fun and creative way while promoting STEM concepts. Participants build their own LEGO cars and race them down a track, allowing for some friendly competition. This activity is part of Pittcon’s educational outreach, which emphasizes hands-on learning and problem-solving skills.

The Pittcon Planetarium is an interactive and educational attraction located on the Expo floor. This portable dome will be the home for presentations on a variety of topics, including stars, constellations, and the solar system. The planetarium is a part of a broader outreach effort by the Pittsburgh Conference to promote science education. The sessions are typically 30 to 45 minutes in length and can accommodate up to 30 attendees, offering a unique opportunity to observe and learn about the night sky in an immersive setting.  

This popular area is designed to help you power up in more ways than one. You can conveniently charge your mobile devices and other electronics at a variety of charging stations while you unwind. But it’s not just about technology—Pittcon Park also features a selection of life-size yard games, adorable Pittcon pets, custom cowboy hats, trivia, and more.

It’s the ideal spot to de-stress, challenge a new acquaintance to a friendly game, and make valuable connections in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
