Call For Papers

The Pittcon 2010 Program Committee cordially invites you to submit an abstract for a contributed oral or poster presentation for Pittcon 2010. We are putting together a comprehensive and diverse technical program covering all areas of analytical science.

All abstracts must be submitted electronically using the Pittcon Web site.

Exhibitors American Chemical Society

The American Chemical Society (ACS) Division of Analytical Chemistry is co-programming with the Pittcon Technical Program and will include symposia, organized contributed sessions, and one poster session.

Instructions:
If you are submitting an abstract for an ACS symposia or organized session, you will be receiving a password and instructions for submitting your abstract. If you are submitting a poster for ACS, please select the ACS poster on the website.



Exhibitors Society for Applied Spectroscopy

A special student poster session sponsored by the Society for Applied Spectroscopy (SAS). This poster session will be on Sunday, February 28, 2010.

Instructions:
If you are submitting a poster for the SAS session, select the poster abstract, Under Pittcon Abstracts, and type in on the first line of the body of the abstract for the SAS poster session.



Exhibitors Association for Laboratory Automation

A special student poster session and award sponsored by The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) - The ALA Young Scientists Poster Award - will be presented at Pittcon 2010.

Graduate and Undergraduate students are eligible to participate in this poster session. The top student poster author in this special poster session will receive a $1,000 (USD) cash award from the ALA for the most outstanding poster presentation of research involving unique and compelling laboratory automation. The judging panel will evaluate each of the candidate's poster presentations and will collectively select the winner of the ALA Young Scientists Poster Award.

The ALA Young Scientists Awardee will be required to submit a manuscript based on the winning poster presentation to the ALA peer-reviewed scientific journal: Journal of the Association of Laboratory Automation (JALA) for publication by May 15, 2010.
