What are the dates, times and location for the Pittcon 2009 exposition?

The exposition dates / times for Pittcon 2009 are as follows:  Monday – Wednesday, March 9 – 12, 2009 from 9 AM – 5 PM and Thursday, March 6 from 9 AM – 3 PM.  The exposition will be held in the South Hall of McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.



How can I obtain a booth space agreement?

Booth Space Agreements are available electronically. The agreement, along with the other forms you will need to exhibit can be downloaded here.



When are the 2009 Booth Space Agreement and payment due?

2009 Booth Space Agreements and payments must be received by August 1 to be eligible for first round assignments. However, Booth Space Agreements and payments will be accepted through February 20, 2009.



Can I purchase the attendee list from Pittcon 2008?

How can I make housing / transportation arrangements?

Pittcon is pleased to continue our partnership with Travel Planners for all travel arrangements for Pittcon Conference and Exposition.  New for Pittcon 2009! Housing requests have gone paperless!  Please note Travel Planners does not require a deposit.

When will booth assignments be made?

First round booth assignments will begin within one week following the August 1, 2008 due date.  All booths are assigned in seniority order starting at 59 years and working back.  Companies with no seniority are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.  All booth assignments will be mailed to each exhibitor no later than mid October 2008.



When will the Exhibitor Service Manual be sent?

The service manual will be made available on our website by late October / early November, 2008.  The Service Manual Forms can found under the exhibitor services section of the Pittcon website.



How many badges does an exhibitor receive?

Six Badges are allotted for every 10' x 10' space purchased. This includes four exhibitor registration and two corporate guest badges per booth. A corporate guest would be your company's special client / guests that you wish to invite to Pittcon. Each Corporate Guest will be entitled to the Exhibit Hall, Technical Program, shuttle transportation, CD of Abstracts, registration souvenir and Conference Mixers. You are entitled to two Corporate Guest badges for each booth purchased which counts against you total allotment of six. If you require additional Corporate Guest badges, they can be purchased for an additional fee.



How do I ensure my company information will appear in the printed publications (Update, Preliminary Program and Final Program)?

To submit your information you must follow the Program Book Information instructions.  Your information must be received by the following dates to make sure your company is included in these publications:

Update – August 1, 2008 - Must have submitted your booth space agreement and payment.  This publication includes the company name only.

Preliminary Program – September 19, 2008.  Must have information entered on our website to be included.  If company description is not submitted, only your company name will be listed.

Final Program – December 19, 2008.  If you’ve submitted a company description for the Preliminary, this information will automatically be used for the Final Program, unless you want to change the description.  If you wish to change the description, it must be done by Dec. 19 and you will need to reenter the new information on our website.

Can I get a list of the registered media members who will be attending Pittcon 2008?

Yes. When registration opens, you may download a list of registered media which will be updated weekly.  A link will be posted at this location.


What is the Exhibitor-Distributor Facilitation Program and How Can I Participate in It ?

Exhibitor-Distributor Facilitation is a networking service which provides an efficient and easy way for exhibitors and distributors to connect at Pittcon 2008.  A database containing information about exhibitors seeking distributors and distributors searching for products to distribute, obtaining licensing agreements, or act as a sales representative to exhibiting companies will be available to help facilitate the connection process between interested parties. Does electric, carpet, furniture, etc. come with the purchase of my booth space?

Included with the purchase of each 10’ x 10’ space is a back curtain in show colors, (2) 3’ side rails in show colors and a 7” x 4” company sign displayed on the back curtain. The sign includes the exhibiting company name and booth number. Anything in addition, such as carpet, electric, AV, furniture, cleaning, etc. will need to be ordered using the appropriate service order forms under the Exhibitor Services Section on our website.
