Pittcon 2013 offers a free Employment Bureau (EB) service during Conference Week. The Bureau is an on-site area for candidates to review active job openings and for employers to review candidate credentials and resumes. To qualify for this service, each participant must be registered either as a conferee or as an exhibitor for Pittcon 2013, AND must also register as either a candidate or an employer with the EB.

About the Employment Bureau

The EB officially opens on Sunday March 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM. At that time, candidate and employer information will be made available for online viewing when the employers “CHECK-IN.”. As soon as possible, ON-SITE employers must send a company representative to the EB to open their job positions to candidate searches AND to open the candidate areas for their searches. All registration and searching will be performed electronically.

Candidates and employers are highly encouraged to register for Pittcon 2013 and the EB before Sunday, March 17, 2013. Candidates and employers should also bring their own computer or other devices for accessing the internet and email, since there will only be a limited number of computers available for general use. There will be specific Candidate and Employer Areas where participants can use their laptops to search for either job openings or candidate resumes. Multiple plug outlets will be available in both areas.

This year the EIC, Employer Information Center, which consists of display tables where employers can place information about their company for candidates to view, will be located IN the Candidate Area. Employers who want to utilize this free service must register with the EB and obtain a specific display area.
