Employment Bureau for Employers
Register as an employer with the Pittcon 2013 Employment Bureau to view available candidate information, credentials and resumes DURING Pittcon week. Employers may schedule 30 minute interviews with candidates in the free, private interview rooms; however, there are a limited number of reserved interview booths which will be available on a weekly basis for a fee. Save 25% or more by booking a reserved booth in advance. (See STEP #3)
Steps to Success
8Bring a computer or other device for accessing the internet and email. If you have not uploaded job positions, bring all of this information on a jump drive in pdf form or a word document.
Interview Rooms & EIC
- Standard Unreserved Room:
You are given a room (8 x 8 feet), with a table and 3 chairs that is available for your interview periods, March 17 – March 21, 2013. Contract is not required.Cost: Free
- Standard Reserved Room:
You are assigned your own standard room (8 x 8 feet) to use throughout Pittcon week, March 17-March 21, 2013. A limited number of rooms are available and are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.Cost: $350.00 (if reserved on or before February 18, 2013)
Cost: $500.00 (if reserved after February 18, 2013)
- Deluxe Reserved Room:
These rooms are twice the size (16 x 8 feet) of a standard room. They have 2 tables, 6 chairs and electrical outlets. They are not connected to other rooms and are less susceptible to outside noise. These rooms are very limited and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis for Pittcon week, March 17 – March 21, 2013.Cost: $600.00 (if reserved on or before February 18, 2013)
Cost: $800.00 (if reserved after February 18, 2013)
An employer can also reserve free table space in the EIC, the Employer Information Center. This is an area of tables located in the Candidate Area where employers can place information about their company for ALL candidates to view. Employers who want to utilize this free service must complete an EIC request form to obtain a specific display area. A list of all employers with tables will be posted on the Candidate and Employer bulletin boards.
After registering with the Employment Bureau, you will be given the opportunity to reserve a special interview room and to reserve a free space in the EIC, Employer Information Center located within the Candidate Area.
